My trading account has prospered from this roller coaster of a week. I was net short so during Thursday's big fall I was able to capitalize on that. Among my purchases were:
SRS @ 61.50, out at 67.40
EEV @ 56.10, out at 61.25
FAZ @ 52 out at 62
These inverse ETFs have been bery bery good to me in 2009. 10% MTD.
As far as my 2008 trading records, what a mess. F*$#@ oil companies and Cramer...

p.s. and switching subjects, have you read the "Brave New War?" (that you gave me for Christmas) it's easy and short. give it a whirl. incredibly thought provoking for someone in the electric utility industry. it should be equally enlightening for a border patrol agent.

Off topic..Did you look at the list of who Bush pardon? The border patrol agents will be released in a few months. What do you think of that?
